The Badlands is now closed…
Hey guys! Since I started college, I am pretty strapped for money and time. So, I have closed The Badlands server to save what $$$ I can. I hope to maybe reopen the server one day, but for now, goodbye.
The Badlands 1.3.1 is now open!
The new Badlands 1.3.1 has arrived! The SMP world and arenas are not yet complete but just about everything else is ready to go! Join us today!

Well I still don’t know who you are and…
- I have created a portal to the Old Badlands so you can travel there and get your stuff. However, if you’ve been on the server before, then you will probably spawn in the old world anyway (not sure though).
- I still need to add perks to the donation packages and will probably do so very soon. I am kinda waiting for plugins to update to 1.3.1.

CraftBukkit updated their recommended build to 1.3.1 this morning! Do you know what that means? It means that I can finally update The Badlands! Featured in the completely redone server will be a magnificently improved spawn area, a world dedicated to arenas, introduction of an SMP Towny world, and much more!
I hope to have the server reopened by the end of today, so just hang tight!
Temporary SMP Vanilla Server now open!

Since it might be a few more days until the official release of CraftBukkit 1.3.1, I have created a new world and temporarily changed the server JAR from CraftBukkit to Vanilla. So, for a limited time, you may join The Badlands for a clean, lawless, SMP experience!

For CraftBukkit to update to 1.3.1? Like MrCoolKid said, probably 3 to 7 days more.
For the me to update the server and its plugins? I have no idea. They new Badlands will be bigger than ever so I have a lot to do! It really will depend on how quickly the developers can update their plugins.

Yep! However, I will probably try to use the beta version which should come out a little earlier. Also, the new spawn is 100% complete! I am just waiting for a stable version of Bukkit!
The Badlands 1.3 is on the way!
Hey guys! Since Minecraft updated to 1.3.1 this morning, it has made the current version of CraftBukkit obsolete. This means that you will be unable to connect to The Badlands server once you’ve updated your client! So, hang tight! As soon as CraftBukkit updates, you will be able to connect to the server again. (you could also revert back to 1.2.5 and connect if you decide that you miss The Badlands that much)
I am also working on the new Badlands spawn area in a fresh 1.3 world. It’s gonna be awesome!

Donators will get the LWC plugin eventually. I will most likely wait until I have completed and opened the new 1.3 spawn until I introduce LWC.
